Our Programs
During the first two years at AUY, students complete foundational general education courses in mathematics, natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. These credits are transferable to our partner universities around the world and are applied toward bachelor’s degree requirements. AUY provides these academic pathways through both on-campus and online learning formats.

Youth Leadership Program
4 Weeks
Leadership Program
On campus
The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is a month-long workshop offered each semester to Myanmar youth, designed to empower participants with essential life skills and extend their impact to the broader community. Through a dynamic mix of courses, YLP focuses on key areas such as communication, team-building, public speaking, and critical thinking—skills that are crucial for personal and professional growth.
In addition to classroom learning, participants engage in hands-on projects that address pressing local issues like recycling, air quality, and heritage preservation. These practical experiences not only enhance their learning but also encourage them to contribute positively to their communities.
Though the program is non-credit and tailored for non-college students, it provides a unique opportunity to acquire new skills while offering exposure to the university experience. YLP is ideal for youth looking to enhance their leadership potential, gain valuable practical knowledge, and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
