During the first two years at AUY, students complete foundational general education courses in mathematics, natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. These credits are transferable to our partner universities around the world and are applied toward bachelor’s degree requirements. AUY provides these academic pathways through both on-campus and online learning formats.

Global Transfer Program
Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is a month-long workshop offered each semester to Myanmar youth, non-AUY students, designed to empower participants with professional and personal skills such as communication, team-building, public speaking, and critical thinking. In addition to classroom learning, participants engage in hands-on projects that address pressing local issues like recycling, air quality, and heritage preservation. This program provides a unique opportunity to acquire new skills while offering exposure to the university experience.
Youth Leadership Program
Development workshops, offered periodically to non-AUY broader community, focus on enhancing skills and personal growth in areas such as well-being and organisational skills. These interactive sessions provide practical tools and strategies to help participants build emotional resilience, improve time management, and boost overall productivity.

UK University System

Most degrees in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are 3 years (Honors Degree = 360 UK credits).

1 U.S. credit = roughly 2 UK credits.

With 60 U.S. credits from AUY, students may be eligible for entry into Year 2 or module exemptions.
USA University System

A typical U.S. bachelor's degree = 120 credits (4 years).

AUY students earn 60 U.S.-equivalent credits in 2 years.

These 60 credits are usually fully transferable to U.S. partner universities.
✅ Students enter directly into Year 3 (Junior Year).
