International Study Program

Canada University System

Most bachelor’s degrees are 90–120 credits, depending on the province and major.

Canadian universities may accept up to 30–60 U.S. credits, but it varies.

Credit transfer is based on syllabus match, GPA, and course level.
✅ Some students may enter Year 2 or advanced standing, especially in arts or business majors.
UK University System

Most degrees in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are 3 years (Honors Degree = 360 UK credits).

1 U.S. credit = roughly 2 UK credits.

With 60 U.S. credits from AUY, students may be eligible for entry into Year 2 or module exemptions.
USA University System

A typical U.S. bachelor's degree = 120 credits (4 years).

AUY students earn 60 U.S.-equivalent credits in 2 years.

These 60 credits are usually fully transferable to U.S. partner universities.
✅ Students enter directly into Year 3 (Junior Year).
